I haven't posted here in months and so much has been happening! I do have lots of new jewelry in my shop on Etsy and am selling on consignment in a couple of other places as well. My cards are in my Etsy shop Papeterie and also in a lovely new shop in New Hampshire called Poni's Place. We recently returned from a week in Kauai where flowers grow everywhere and the ocean and peaceful pace of the Island were difficult to leave behind. I will have more soon. But here is a quick pic of Kauai.

I'm getting ready to go to Italy for a few weeks. I have a new camera and zoom lens and plan to take lots of photographs while I'm there. We will be in Venice, Florence and Assisi and will take a few day trips to other places, too. Traveling opens my eyes to new ideas that inspire fresh designs for jewelry and paper arts. I recently opened a second shop on Etsy for my cards. It's called Papeterie. Check out the pop-up cards. I'm having so much fun making them.

The weather has been lovely this week - still cool at night for sleeping, but sunny and warm during the day. I've spent most of my time out on my deck working with beads and wire. It's great to have longer days and more time outdoors. More earrings have been added today and I hope to add more pieces again tomorrow, including a charm bracelet I finished today. Just added more new bracelets today - I'm doing a lot of silver wire work as well as more silver clay designs - also working on new birth announcement designs for my web site Belly Button Babies - I just love designing and working on new projects and it's great to be able to work at the computer for a while and then go sit at my work bench and hammer silver wire! The sun is out today after a very rainy day yesterday and I plan to pot some flowers. Enjoy your day, too.

I recently returned from a wonderful two week vacation in Italy with my husband, John. We stayed in Florence for one week and in Venice for another week and made a couple of day trips to Assisi and Siena. Very inspirational! We collected sea shells at the Adriatic Sea and I made several fine silver pendants using some of the shells to make a mould for the silver clay.
