Singing From My Window - Just a few thoughts from me! April 26, 2009 Spring is here and I love seeing all the flowers in bloom and having the days last much longer. We did so much traveling in the past 8 months that I am very happy to be at home right now. We spent 3 weeks in Italy and France and returned home on April 1st. I've been organizing my workshop and have plans for several new projects: more pmc pieces, lots more silver wire work, and I want to do some soldering and silver fusing, too. Wish there were more hours in a day. I've also been in a frenzy designing some new note card sets for my shop on Etsy called Papeterie. I've been cutting and folding and gluing and doing lots of interesting stuff with Photoshop. Have to get back to work :) February 24, 2009 I have some nice new pieces in my Etsy shop. I especially love the all silver bracelet with hammered and textured components and my fine silver (pmc) charms. Check it out :) Hand Forged Bracelet February 4, 2009 We took a two week trip to Hawaii in January. I could easily have stayed on the beach in Kauai for much longer. It was so warm and just really beautiful. Back home again and just finished a few new pieces and put them in my shop on Etsy. I'm in a Valentine mood :) December 12, 2008 Since this is my busy season for making photo greeting cards (my other creative endeavor), I haven't had as much time as I'd like for jewelry design. I did get a very lovely bracelet finished and put in my shop on Etsy. It's a wonderful combination of lampworked beads, silver and crystals. I am so pleased with the way it turned out! As soon as I'm finished with all of my Holiday Card orders, I will be working on some new designs. Ideas are floating around in my head, and I'm eager to get back to my work bench.
